Quail Ridge's Q2 - "Blueberry"
Blueberry is Bettina's favorite. She was one of 7 kits born to Jezabelle and Digger. Her exhausted mother didn't unwrap her so we did it, cut her umbilical cord and watched as she took her first breaths in our hand! Bettina is always rooting for the underdog, so we kept our little blueberry for sentimental reasons. Blueberry is a blue senior doe born 2/13/14. She won BOSB at the Alameda County Fair and earned her 2nd leg for winning her class at the 2015 National Convention. Her last leg was for Best of Breed at the Contra Costa County Fair in May 2018. Grand Champion #M528, Reg # E961P

Shocker is a wonderful REW senior buck we just brought home after the 2014 National Convention. He's out of one of the most successful breeders on the East Coast. He's got a great head. His coat is a little weak and needs some filling out. He hides agouti, so he's our hope at the last color group we have yet to experience. He took Best in Show at the Contra Costa County Fair this May 2015! He's an older guy who went to live in retirement in Texas. Grand Champion #K1342, Registration #Z83M

This young senior broken chestnut buck out of Jezabelle and Bullet. He is the cutest head ever and a coat with excellent texture and drape. He is smaller and compact in body, but with his structure, he's a natural poser. Good depth of body, but could be fuller in the hindquarters. He was our donation to The 2017 Golden Fleece Auction for the NJWRC where he sold for $640 (half of which went to benefit the NJWRC)!

This tan pattern senior buck comes from Carol Green's herd. He is a little pinched in the hindquarters, but has a great coat and bone. We have always wanted to have a full table of groups at shows, and lately, we've been short on tans. We brought him out of Carol's rabbitry to try to support this color again.

Jezabelle is a sweetheart, but sort of a high-maintenance rabbit . She's got a little attitude and is very willing to keep a show pose. She is a proven broken blue senior doe in the Broken color variety. She consistently gets nice remarks on her coat. She is often the favorite rabbit with the kids - everyone wants a turn holding her. Strengths: body type, ears and nice guard hairs and texture in her coat. Jezabelle has at least 30 show legs, many of which are BOB as well as RIS and BIS. She competed at ARBA's 2014 National Convention and placed 2nd out of her color group.

Quail Ridge's Q38 - "Fuzz"
Fuzz is a broken blue doe who has perfect texture to her coat that drapes very elegantly. She has great type, but is lacking a dwarf gene that keeps her small and gives her ears a little bit more length than desired for a show rabbit. The good news is that she is guaranteed to never give you double-dwarf babies. With her background and build, she is an awesome addition to any breeding program. Fuzz went to live with Lori R. in the Paso Robles, CA area where we hope she makes lots of babies for her!

Sparky is a broken blue martin junior buck. He has an excellent coat with great texture and really great proportions. Sparky is cute as a button. He's a broken blue buck that is all that you want a wooly to be: compact, great open ear & placement, great coat and a great pedigree. Out of Jezabelle (30+ legs) and Fuzzy Bottoms. However, he's light on color and therefore can't show. He will be a fabulous addition to a breeding program. Sparky went to live with Chelsea to help her with her breeding program!

Twinkle is a young proven senior Pointed White doe in the AOV (Any Other Variety) group. She came all the way from Indiana from breeder Angi Sheets who is the Jersey Wooly representative for District 8 (IN, KY, MI, OH, and parts of Canada). Twinkle has a really outstanding coat and won BOG at WCC. She is curious and friendly and enjoys cuddling. Her ears are a bit long and sometimes are overly furred. She is what we affectionately call a "big ugly" or false dwarf doe. She is not show quality (over weight limit) but is an amazing mother and will care for anything!

Fuzzyville's WB3 - "Eye Candy"
Candy is a brood quality doe we picked up while at the WCC. She is a proven senior Siamese Sable with a good body type, strong head and a big bold eye. She's a little timid, but very sweet. Her ears could use some work, where I wish they were a little more open and rounder and they tend to scissor. She needs to be matched with someone with a broad face as her's is a little narrow. She has two show legs winning Best of Breed at Cal State Fair in 2012 and Alameda County Fair in 2014.

Julia's BOB - "Pedro"
Pedro is a great looking boy with nice guard hair - we're waiting for his wool to come back in. He's a black otter senior buck from another one of our favorite youth breeders, Julia Baetz. We love his head and his shoulder size. It's tough to get him correctly posed as he tends to cower and not hold his head up. We recently breed him to Jezabelle and hope that he brings to her babies with a wider stance and face. Pedro went to live with a young 4-Her in the Humboldt area.

Mossy's BOS - "Bunji"
We have started an experiment - little right-hand turn from Woolies. We bought a junior REW Lionhead buck at the West Coast Classic from Mossy Ranch in Oregon. He's the cutest thing. He is out of Legendary's Maestro and Lilac's Great White and has a shaded background. Born on 1/20/14, he already won BOV twice at WCC earning him 2 GC legs, and BOSB at the Half Moon Bay Youth Show B. We're excited to think out of the box a little bit and hope he does really well.

Quail Ridge's Q4 - "Balto"
Balto is just like his mother. Not only does he look much like her, but he's a talker as well. Ava jokes that we should have named him "Squeaky." Balto is a junior broken blue otter buck out of Jezabelle and Digger born 2/13/14. He shows a very nice body type with short ears and dense wool. He's a little bit of a jumpy spaz, and sometimes the judges wave him off for his behavior. However, the judges at WCC believe he is a very promising little buck...and we do too...especially if he can just calm down! (LOL). Balto went to live with a Satin Angora breeder trying her luck with Woolies!

Linus is incredibly shy around people. He has a good head structure. Because of his shyness, he cowers on the judging table making it hard for his body type to be properly recognized. He is very comfortable in the exercise pen and loves to dig and certainly isn't shy around the ladies, if you know what I mean. He did manage to earn one GC leg. Linus went to live with new hobbyist Maggie in Southern California with a breeder doe and one of our home-growns, Quail Ridge's Q10.

Rising Moon's M1 - "Snooki"
Snooki was our very first Jersey Wooly rabbit and the apple of our eye. She is a proven Ruby-Eyed White senior doe in the Self color group with a lot of great feedback from judges. Weaknesses: thin ears. Strengths: body type, head shape and such an exceptional personality. She is an excellent mother and one of our favorite showmanship rabbits. She absolutely loves playing in the play yard where she repeatedly leaps and binkys. Snooki has at least 3 GC show legs (Cow Place Show A - BOG & Show B 2013 - BOG, WCC specialty show - BOB). Snooki went to live with some Jersey Wooly breeders in Nebraska.

Julia's J14 - "Gunther"
Gunther was Ava's first and favorite rabbit. He's a senior Siamese Sable buck in the Shaded color group. His temperament again makes him highly desirable rabbit and one we liked to replicate. He has a good body type and a good strong square head. He is incredibly patient with our kids and has made a very reliable showmanship rabbit. Weakness: flat backend. He is a proven buck. Gunther has three show legs (March Hare 2013 - BOB, Cow Palace Show A 2013 - BOSB, Cow Palace Show B 2013 - BOSB). Gunther is Grand Champion #Y566M. Gunther moved to Snohomish, WA.

Fuzzyville's BC2 - "Digger"
Digger is a character. He's a great-looking boy that is all business and very single-minded. He is always aware of where the does are and shows off often for them. He loves being in the play yard where he digs, marks the territory, and visits each and every rabbit in the perimeter. He is a proven senior black otter buck in the Tan pattern color group. His pedigree comes from a very successful show background. Weaknesses: Intense personality and thin coat. Strengths: Very good head and body type, very good short ears. Digger has three legs (Convention 2012 shown by Arielle Spotswood, Napa Summer Fun Show A & Show B 2013 - BOG, BOSB). Digger moved to Bay City, MI

Fuzzyville's LA1 - "Blue Moon"
Blue Moon has a beautiful color. She is a proven senior blue otter in the Tan pattern color group and makes beautiful babies. She is a dominant doe and likes to flirt often with the bucks. With people, she can be affectionate. She is one of the rare "lickers" and licks often when being groomed (which is why I love grooming her). Her ears are a bit long, but are nice and open and of substantial thickness. Blue Moon has one show leg (Napa Winter Youth B - BOSB). Blue Moon moved to Wasatch Hills Rabbitry in Utah.
